Gently Down the Stream

24” x .75” x 36”

Acrylic, Coffee, Pencil on Canvas

This piece celebrates the joy and magnificence of this planet and of life itself.

The earth, she nourishes and sustains us. There is so much love beneath our feet and all around us. The sheer miracle that this planet even exists with the perfect combination of elements for life is magic. During the creation of this piece, I was reminded of how it felt as a child to play in natural bodies of water and in the dirt and sand. I was brought back to the joy I feel when I play in and with these earth elements. This piece to me celebrates the playfulness and love I feel when in communion with the natural world.

This planet we call home is a miracle and every living creature on it is a further manifestation of that miracle.
